Leadership

Murali Meraga, CEO of Entellects, started the company in 2004. Murali empowers his people to make decisions and is always looking to delegate opportunities to his staff.

Kevin O’Brien is a partner in echogravity and a long time contact and acquaintance of Murali. Kevin has been hired to help build the company strategy and structure in order to support the goals of the company through the next 4 years. Kevin’s background includes 20 years in IT Services and Consulting and has advised many organizations throughout the Chicagoland area. Kevin will be acting as COO through the building process.

Brian Jameson is also a partner of echogravity and will be acting as interim Chief Marketing Officer. Brian is responsible for creating and building the organizational messaging foundation as well as the go to market strategy for corporate identity and lead generation. Brian has played an instrumental role in numerous companies as the marketing lead and strategic advisor.

Position Description

Entellects is seeking a high achieving sales leader. To date, the company has reached its sales success through repeat business and through networking among Entellects business partners. Entellects has delivered consistently strong results and has proven to be a leader with its customers by showing consistent growth year over year. Entellects has recently adopted a new growth strategy that will change the face of the company over the next 4 years. An integral part of this strategy includes the addition of this sales leader role. The initial responsibility will be to build territories in conjunction with managing and building a highly capable sales team.

With a dotted line to the President of Entellects, the VP of Sales will be based in Chicago and be responsible for driving new sales opportunities in addition to molding a high performing sales organization.

Responsibilities

Building new relationships, defining a sales strategy, and positioning the Entellects brand are the key responsibilities of the VP of Sales. Other responsibilities of the VP of Sales include:

* Lead by example by establishing a market presence and repeatable process for new business growth.

* Become intimately familiar with Entellects and its core competencies, providing input and advice where necessary.

* Define, build and create ownership of the sales territories and operations for which new opportunity will be captured.

* Develop, create and follow a structured sales process for identifying opportunity, building credibility, positioning capability and closing new business.

* Assist in the creation and utilization of a defined value proposition for the benefit of the entire sales team advancement.

* Work within the framework of Entellects in delivering sound, ethical business practices across all sales and delivery disciplines.

* Proactively lead the prospecting efforts through a target market to identify projects and opportunities for Entellects.

* Meet or exceed defined team revenue and profit margin objectives as outlined by yourself and the management team.

* Lead the efforts in preparing and presenting sales proposals and RFP responses where necessary.

* Identify and implement innovative business development and sales strategies to applicable situations.

* Utilize personal and professional rolodex of top IT and Business Unit heads for prospecting purposes.

* Research and be conversant on issues regarding industries that will affect sales opportunities in the target market.

* Assist in the Definition of the team sales measurement and adhere to the Entellects standards regarding sales force automation usage.

* Prepare sales reports and funnel status as required to manage the sales team and prospecting activity.

* Generate creativity in the Vice President of Sales position that will create growth and profitability for the company.

Requirements:

ü Minimum 4 years of successful outside sales with a proven track record in selling IT consulting or other defined services to Fortune 500 and middle market companies.

ü Highly knowledgeable of Information Technology concepts, business applications and organizational structures.

ü Proven background in selling and managing with a W2 to back it up.

ü Sales management experience or the clear potential to become a significant part of the executive team with full responsibility of sales and marketing.

ü Strong understanding of solution selling concepts with the ability to sell a wide range of consulting services.

ü Proven ability to create relationships at all levels of Fortune 500 and SMB businesses.

ü Successful history in drawing up sales plans on market penetration and follow through to achieve desired revenue results.

ü Highly organized and proven capability in managing work process and follow up tasks.

ü Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.

ü Detail oriented and articulate, with an eye for perfection, when necessary.

ü Strong desire to be a part of creating and building an exceptional sales and delivery organization.

ü Must have a stable work history with proven results.

ü High level of focus on integrity and customer value.
